HIVE 3rd Plenary meeting and 1st Workshop to be held in Rennes

From Oct.19 to Oct. 23 2009, LTSI (Inserm U642) is hosting the third plenary meeting of the HIVE project (http://hive-eu.org/) on brain stimulation. This is a four year project that began in September 2008.

A workshop is planned on Friday (Oct. 23) on the topic of biophysical modeling of stimulation currents and effects on neuronal systems. For this occasion, Giulio Ruffini (Starlab) will give a short introduction to the Hive project followed by Ben Jansen (University of Houston, USA), Vincent Walsh (University College London), Michael Nitsche (Georg-August-University Göttingen), Fabrice Wendling (Inserm, University of Rennes 1, France) and Pedro Miranda (FFCUL, Portugal) who will present their work. Presentations (9 :00 – 13 :15) are open to public.

The meeting will take place in the LTSI premises, at the University of Rennes 1, “Campus de Beaulieu”, Building #22, Room #502 (5th floor).
